The 52-year-old driver of a truck belonging to the Dangote Group, Sani Mohammed, on Tuesday had his bail revoked for failing to appear in court for his trial.
Consequently, Mohammed was re-arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court.
He was previously facing a two-count charge bothering on conspiracy and stealing.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Adeniyi Balogun, had told the court that the defendant committed the offences on July 15, 2016 at Dangote Salt Refinery, Apapa Ports Complex.
He said, “The defendant conspired with others to steal a truck load of salt valued N500,000.”

The Chief Magistrate, A.O Awogboro ordered the defendant to be remanded and his former bail revoked.
