A 20-year-old lady, identified as Nnorom Florence was on Thursday arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing N182,000 from a Customs agent, Irabor Sunday.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Marvelous Ogbona told the court that the defendant committed the offence on January 3, 2018 at about 2pm along Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, Olodi, Apapa.
Ogbona said the defendant stole one Tecno LG handset valued N67,000 and cash.
According to him, the offence contravenes Sections 412 and 287 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.
However, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge against her.
The Magistrate, Mrs Adenike Alaka granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety.
She adjourned the case till March 7, 2018 for mention.
