There are strong indications that the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) high command may again redeploy some of its Deputy Comptrollers (Dcs) and Customs Area Controllers (CACs) at the various commands.
Sources informed SHIPS & PORTS DAILY that a circular to that effect may be issued this week.
This, it was gathered followed the redeployment of officers from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs to the lowest cadre at the various customs formation across the country last Thursday.
SHIPS & PORTS DAILY recalls that the service had in June redeployed Area Controllers who barely spent five months in their positions.
