Customs redeploys Apapa PRO, others

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has redeployed some of its Public Relations Officers to different commands.

Acting spokesman of the Service, Joseph Attah, said in a statement that the redeployment was aimed at strengthening communications with stakeholders.

Those affected in the exercise include the Oyo/Osun command PRO, Nkiruka Nwala who has been redeployed to Apapa Command while the Federal Operation Unit Zone C, PRO, Ifeoma Onuigbo was moved to Oyo/Osun Command.

The PRO of Ogun Command, Usman Abubakar moves to FOU Zone B and the Zone B Headquarters PRO now moves to Idiroko.

“The redeployment is intended to strengthen our communication and engagement with stakeholders. We believe that this will boost mutual understanding between NCS and stakeholders,” Attah said.

Attah urged stakeholders and the media to cooperate with the new image makers to ensure effective information dissemination.
