President Goodluck Jonathan has vowed to perform the groundbreaking of the $16 billion Delta Gas City, Thursday, March 26, two days to the March 28 presidential polls.
Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan conveyed the new date to Ijaw and Itsekiri stakeholders at a meeting yesterday morning at Government House, Asaba, pleading with them to maintain peace in their respective areas.
Sources said Jonathan would move to Bayelsa state after the groundbreaking and remain there to cast his vote for the March 28 presidential and national assembly election.
