The management of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) yesterday released the names of its newly promoted staff including nine new Directors and 586 others.
The newly promoted Directors (Level 17) all served as Deputy Directors before their elevation. They include Jidda Aishatu Adamu (Mrs.), Egbuche Rita Uzoamaka, Audu Sani Mohammed, Odusanya O. A. (Mrs) and Dr. Nwanze Anselm Ezefodu. Others are Egejuru Victor Alexander, Bolaji Kehinde Bernice, Murnai Kabir and Dr. Mogo Felicia.
45 staff of the agency were also elevated from Level 15 (Assistant Director) to Level 16 (Deputy Director). Among those elevated in this category is the spokesman of the agency, Philip Kyanet.
According to the lists exclusively obtained by SHIPS & PORTS, 71 staff were promoted from Level 14 (Chief) to Level 15 (Assistant Director); 118 from Level 13 to Level 14 and 127 from Level 12 to Level 13.
Also, 137 staff were elevated from Level 10 to Level 12; 72 from Level 9 to Level 10; 13 from Level 8 to Level 8; two from Level 7 to Level 8 and one from Level 4 to Level 5.
