Former Chairman of the Tin Can Island chapter of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Kayode Farinto has commended the President of the association, Prince Olayiwola Shittu for successfully completing an ultra modern permanent national secretariat for the association.
Farinto made this commendation in a chat with SHIPS & PORTS DAILY in his office yesterday.
He said with the feat, Shittu has left his footprint in the sand of time in the association.
Farinto praised Shittu for his foresight and leadership qualities which he said had stood the association out in the industry.
“We have had so many Presidents but they have not been able to achieve this but if Prince Shittu can achieve this during his tenure, I give him kudos and his name will forever be written in gold for this achievement.
“We have had 15 Presidents and none of them deemed it fit to give us a befitting secretariat even when they had the opportunity to build one in Apapa, but if Prince Shittu can give us a befitting secretariat in Mile 2 despite all the challenges he has been facing, I want to envy him and say it’s a very big achievement to President Shittu,” he said.
