Guidelines for CBN’s N300bn non-oil exporters’ fund out soon

The guidelines on how to access the N300 billion special non-oil export intervention fund recently announced by the Central Bank of Nigeria will be unveiled soon, an official of the bank, Babatunde Ogunlaja, said.

Ogunlaja said this at a training organised by the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association’s (NECA) Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW) held in Abuja on Thursday.

He said the apex bank will make sure interested exporters were carried along in the process while priority would be given to women entrepreneurs.

The NNEW was established in 2005 under the NECA to promote and nurture entrepreneurship amongst women.

According to the vice president of NNEW, Abiola Dairochu Olumode, the forum was serious about building women entrepreneurs across every country in the world.

The event had representatives from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Ministry of Women Affairs, Nigeria Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), NIPOST, Ministry of Agriculture and the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) among others.
