The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hameed Ali, has cautioned Nigerians against engaging in smuggling activities or patronising smugglers.
Ali gave the charge on Sunday in a message of felicitations to Christians on Easter celebration.
The Customs boss said the Easter period was a time to remind Nigerians to shun smuggling.
“As we reflect on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ, let us remember that smuggling is a crime and does the nation no good. Do not smuggle and do not patronise smugglers,” he said.
