Two oil tankers, the Saudi-flagged Amjad and Panama-flagged Blue Lagoon I, came under attack on Monday in the Red Sea off Yemen.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for targeting the Blue Lagoon I with multiple missiles and drones, but did not mention the Saudi tanker.
Despite being hit, both ships were able to continue their voyages with no major damage or casualties reported.
The Joint Maritime Information Center reported that three ballistic missile attacks hit the Blue Lagoon I tanker, 70 nautical miles northwest of the Yemeni port of Saleef.
This incident marks the latest in a series of attacks by Houthi rebels, who have launched over 70 attacks on vessels in the region since November 2023, sinking two ships, seizing another, and killing at least three seafarers.
The rebels claim their actions are in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza war.
