Lucky Eyis Amiwero is a maritime industry activist. Several times he had brushes with the powers that be. On two occasions, he was beaten up by security operatives and locked up in cells. He is in the mould of the late Gani Fawehinmi and Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Despite severe threats to his life, he remains undeterred in his activism.
Amiwero is the National President of the National Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents and CEO of Eyis Resources Limited.
He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping, Institute of Transport Administration (IOTA) – where he once served as President, Institute of Sales Management, Institute of Air Travel & Maritime Studies and the Institute of Corporate Affairs and Business Management.
He has served on several federal government committees. He has also received awards and recognitions from across the maritime industry.
