Maritime Police gets new AIG

A new Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) has been appointed for the Maritime Police Command.

AIG Felix Ogundeji is expected to resume duties at the Command this week.

The AIG replaces Pius Imueh who died in office last month after a brief illness.

Public Relations Officer of the Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police Sadik Tunde confirmed the development to SHIPS & PORTS DAILY in Lagos.

Before his promotion as AIG, Ogundeji was Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, Force Headquarters.

Imueh was appointed in May 2017 to head the Command and would have been due for retirement this month before his untimely death.
