President of the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping (NCS), Aminu Umar, has been confirmed as a speaker at the West African Shipping Assembly (WASA 2023) holding on 12th September as one of the highlight events of the London International Shipping Week.
NCS is an umbrella trade association for the Nigerian maritime industry, representing and comprising ship owners, tanker vessel operators, port/terminal operators, shipyard/dry dock owners, upstream and downstream service operators, international maritime/shipping operators, maritime lawyers, and financial institutions.
A former Président of the Nigerian Shipowners Association (NISA), Umar doubles as the Managing Director of Sea Transport Group, a leading player in wet cargo transport market of Nigeria.
