The heavy rainfall experienced in most parts of Lagos metropolis yesterday caused heavy flooding of the Apapa-Oshodi expressway, leading to the inability of many trucks to enter or exit the Tin Can Island Port.
The situation, which also caused untold hardship to many commuters, further exacerbated the build-up of cargo in the port.
