The operator of marine container terminals, Global Ports handled 27,000 cars at its St. Petersburg, Russia terminals in the six months from April to September 2023.

All the vehicles were imported to Russia from China by sea and shipped in containers. The main share, 24,500 cars, were unstuffed at Global Ports’ marine terminals Petrolesport and First Container Terminal (PLP and FCT respectively, both located in the Big Port of St. Petersburg).

Another 2,500 vehicles were handled at Yanino Logistics Park, Global Ports’ inland terminal near St. Petersburg.

Car deliveries through Global Ports’ terminals in St. Petersburg resumed in April 2023 after a year-long pause following the exit of several international container and ro-ro operators from the Russian market.
