Sanni, Adeyanju re-elected at MWUN branch polls

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Branch and Dockworkers Branch, respectively, of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) yesterday held elections in Benin, the Edo State capital, Comrade Adeleke Sanni and Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, being re-elected to their respective positions.
Sanni returned unopposed as President of the NPA Branch of MWUN, while it was the same for Adeyanju who retained his position as President of the Dockworkers Branch.

Adeyanju, who confirmed that “everybody had been returned unopposed” also told SHIPS & PORTS DAILY by telephone that the elections had been “successfully conducted and without any hindrances.”
Comrade Emmanuel Tony Nted, it would be recalled , was last Monday in Abuja at the Third Quadrennial National Delegates Conference of MWUN re-elected unopposed as President-General.
