President, Ship owners Association of Nigeria (SOAN), Engr. Greg Ogbeifun has lost his mother, Deaconess Cecilia Izogie Ogbeifun.
Mrs Ogbeifun died on Wednesday, January 9th in Benin City, the Edo State capital at the age of 100.
The statement announcing the demise by the family reads: “With gratitude to God for a life well lived, we the families of Ogbeifun and Osemwegie announce the passing unto glory of our dearly beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Deaconess Cecilia Izogie Ogbeifun who went to be with the lord on Wednesday January 9th 2019 at the ripe age of 100 years.”
The statement signed by Greg Ogbeifun and made available to SHIPS & PORTS DAILY, stated that service of songs, funeral service and interment will hold on Thursday 7th March, 2019 at Benin City, Edo State.
The statement noted that other details of the funeral activities will be communicated in due course.
Deaconess Ogbeifun is survived by 10 children, grand children and great grand children.
