Shippers’ Association joins as co-defendant as Court fixes Dec. 1 for definite hearing on Shipping Lines case against NSC

Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos this morning fixed Monday December 1, 2014 for definite hearing in a case brought before him by the Association of Shipping Line Agencies (ALSA) against the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) over the latter’s order to slash shipping lines agency charges.
This was even as he ruled in favour of the Shipping Association of Lagos State (SALS) which had sought to join the suit as second defendant.
The Judge also adjourned to Wednesday 10th December, the matter brought against the NSC by the Seaport Terminal Operators Association of Nigeria (STOAN).
