The Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman has said the NPA has secured approval to dredge Warri Port in Delta State at a cost of N50 billion.
Usman, who made this known at the Prince Olayiwola Shittu at 68 Colloquium on Monday in Lagos, said the Federal Government is currently sourcing for the fund to back up the project.
The NPA boss said the effort was an attempt to upgrade the port for better usage in order to decongest the Lagos ports that were presently overstretched.
