AJW Group, a market leader in the global management of aircraft spares, has signed an agreement with Aero Contractors to assist in the restructuring and upgrading of its MRO support services.

AJW Group will be supporting Aero Contractors with the upgrade of its MRO services to C-check capabilities for Boeing 737 Classic and 777 aircrafts.

The enhancement of its MRO capabilities will ensure that maintenance is carried out to a very high standard, thus providing added quality assurance to their customers.

In addition to their own fleet, Aero Contractors will be able to extend these services to third party operators both in Nigeria and within region.

Furthermore, AJW Group will also be focusing on the management of Aero Contractors’ assets to deliver an effective return on investment, disposal of Aero Contractors’ PW105 engines and to provide support with engine shop-visit management.

AJW Capital, the Group’s principal investing division responsible for the purchase, sale and lease of large aviation-related capital assets, will also facilitate the acquisition of two new Bombardier Q400 aircraft for Aero Contractors.

President and CEO of AJW Group, Christopher Whiteside said: “Our focus on quality is instilled in everything we do, and our decision to work with Aero Contractors is testament to that”.

CEO of Aero Contractors, Capt. Ado Sanusi said the partnership would have a marked effect on the airline’s operations going forward.
