Customs arrests drug peddlers

The Seme Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has handed over two suspects – Abdullahi Ismail and Valentine Malizu – it arrested for being in possession of 40 wraps of substances suspected to be illicit hard drugs concealed inside cartons of crayfish to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The seized drugs weight about 43.4kg with a value of N412,300.

The seizure was reportedly made by a border patrol team acting on intelligence report on April 17.

The suspects were also reportedly found to be in possession of over nine different SIM cards and assorted charms.
