The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Murtala Muhammed International Airport Command, Lagos, generated N4,99 billion revenue in September 2019.

The command said the figure exceeded its monthly revenue target, and also exceeded the revenue of N3.98 billion collected in September 2018.

Public Relations Officer of the command, Ephraim Haruna, said the command also seized goods worth N12.6 million during the period. The seizures, according to him, include drones of different makes, walkie-talkie radios, and military armoured vests, among others. He said the drones were seized because the owners did not obtain end use certificates.
