Customs spokesman, Taupyen is dead

A serving Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC) Taupyen Salenyang is dead.

Salenyang reportedly died after battling with an undisclosed ailment last weekend.

Customs Public Relations Officer, Joseph Attah, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, described the death of Salenyang as a great loss to the Customs Public Relations unit.

Some of his colleagues who took to social media to express their condolences described Salenyang as a dedicated and brilliant officer.

He was, until his death, Assistant Customs Public Relations Officer at the Customs headquarters.

Before his posting to the Customs headquarters, he was the spokesman of the Seme Border Area Command.
