#EndSARS protesters invade Customs base in Oyo

 

Some angry youth protesting under the #EndSARS umbrella have invaded the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) base in Oke-Ogun, Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The youth, who said they are protesting against police brutality, also invaded a police station and the office of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the town.

The protesters seized bags of rice and other items stored at the Customs base.

The mob later went to the NSCDC office and carted away several items.

A video circulating on social media showed several items including a generating set and television were carted away by the hoodlums.

The Chairman, Caretaker Committee of Iseyin Local Government Area, Mufutau Abilawon, confirmed the invasion.

Customs spokesman, Oyo/Osun Command, Kayode Wey, also confirmed the attack on the Customs base.
