Former National Maritime Authority boss loses first son

A former Director General of the defunct National Maritime Authority (NMA), Engr. Buba Galadima has lost his first son, Aliyu Buba Galadima, to a ghastly car accident along Kaduna-Abuja expressway.

However, his funeral rites took place at Annur Mosque, Wuse II, Abuja at 4pm on Monday after which he was buried according to Islamic rites.

Aliyu was described as a promising young man, who was full of life and who just got married in April 2016.

The bereaved father, Engr. Buba Galadima, served as Director-General of NMA from 1996 to 1998. He is also the former national secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) which is one of the legacy parties that collapsed into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
