ISAN loses Exco member

The Indigenous Shipowners Association of Nigeria (ISAN) has announced the sudden death of a member of its Executive Committee, Alhaji Akanji Oyedele.
According to a statement issued from ISAN Secretariat, Oyedele died yesterday morning at the age of 67 years.

“We regret to inform you that we lost a prominent executive member of the association, Alh. M. A. Oyedele this morning (yesterday). He will be buried later today (yesterday) according to Moslem rites,” the ISAN statement noted.
The late Oyedele was the General Manager of Joseph Sammy Shipping.
Oyedele’s demise led to the hurried cancellation of ISAN Executive Committee meeting scheduled to hold yesterday afternoon.
