The management of Lekki Deep Sea Port, Nigeria’s first deep sea port, has extended its congratulations to Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho and Senator Adedayo Adeyeye on their recent appointments as Managing Director and Board Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, respectively.
In a statement signed by Du Ruogang, Managing Director of Lekki Deep Sea Port, the company noted that Dr. Dantsoho’s extensive expertise in public service makes him an ideal candidate to lead the Nigerian Ports Authority. His leadership is expected to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of Nigeria’s ports across Africa.
Du Ruogang also congratulated Senator Adedayo Adeyeye on his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Ports Authority.
The statement highlighted the immense support Lekki Deep Sea Port has received from the Nigerian Ports Authority during its development, construction, and commercial operational phases, which commenced in April 2023. Du Ruogang expressed confidence that this support will continue, aligning with the Federal Ministry of Marine & Blue Economy’s objective to drive maritime trade and accelerate Nigeria’s economic recovery.
