Maritime Cup 2023: Customs, NAGAFF, Blueche record victory

Five-time champions, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Thursday defeated 2009 champions, Nigerian Navy 1-0 in their first group encounter in the ongoing Maritime Cup competition. The NCS scored the only goal of the tension-soaked match in the first half.

Earlier, the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) defeated Josepdam Ports Services (JPS) 2-1 while Truck Transit Park (TTP) lost 1-7 to Blueche Lomado.

Action continues in the tournament today as defending champions Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) take on debutants Comet Shipping at 9am while Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) will trade tackles with COSCO Shipping at 11am.

The rescheduled match between the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and 2019 champions ENL Consortium will be played at 1pm. All the matches will be played at the NPA Sports Ground, Surlere, Lagos.
