Nigerian tests positive to coronavirus in U.S.

 

Nigeria’s coronavirus cases hit 8,068 on Monday as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 229 fresh infections in the country. 

NCDC also announced seven new deaths related to the virus. 

In the figures released by the NCDC, Lagos State recorded 90 new infections, Katsina 29 and Imo 26.

Also, Kano recorded 23 new cases, FCT 14, Plateau 12, Ogun 9, Delta 7, while Borno and Rivers recorded 5 new cases each.

Others are Oyo 4, Gombe 3, Osun 2, while Anambra and Bayelsa recorded one new case each. 

So far, 2,311 patients have recovered from the virus, NCDC stated.
