A maritime lawyer, Dr. Emeka Akabogu, on Friday celebrated his 50th birthday and launched two maritime law books – Ship Arrest in Nigeria and Nigerian Ports Law – in commemoration of the event.
The black tie event was attended by many stakeholders from the maritime, oil and gas industries.
The celebrant also doled out N500,000 to the winners of an essay competition organised as part of the event.
