He said NPA has, over the years, enjoyed cordial working relationship with the Nigerian Army whenever the need to maintain law and order at the port arises.
Koko also expressed regrets over illegal activities by hoodlums at Takwa Bay in Lagos. He said the Takwa Bay facility legally belonged to NPA, but was handed over to the military for training and operational exercises.
He stated that the property has been abandoned by the military and taken over by hoodlums who use it for illicit activities.

Ajunwa also said that the military will engage other government agencies to curtail the illegal activities of hoodlums at Takwa Bay. He said his men regularly raid the facility to curtail criminal activities.
