Reconciliation in sight as ANLCA holds AGM tomorrow

The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents its set to hold its Annual General Meeting in Lagos tomorrow.

A statement signed by the association’s Acting National President, Dr. Kayode Farinto, said the AGM is called as a statutory obligation as contained in the ANLCA Supreme Constitution to discuss matters concerning the association.

The AGM, which will hold at Marriott Hotel, Ikeja at 12 noon, has the reconciliation of aggrieved members and resolution of the lingering crisis in the association on the agenda.

Farinto said all Managing Directors/Directors of Customs licensed corporate companies that are financial members of ANLCA in line with Section 21 sub-section 6c of the association’s constitution are expected to attend the meeting.

“In view of the reconciliation efforts, only year 2022 national dues will be paid to enable attendance,” he said.

“The AGM is among other things to deliberate and discuss the future of ANLCA in finding lasting solutions to the lingering crisis in the association.

“We implore all members of the great ANLCA to turn up without fear or favour so they can make their modest contributions to how ANLCA can move forward,” Farinto added.
