Congratulatory messages have started pouring in for the re-elected National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Prince Olayiwola Shittu.
Shittu was re-elected in Lagos on Monday unopposed for another four-year term.
Former Lagos State Commissioner of Transportation, Professor Bamidele Badejo, in a message to the ANLCA leader expressed joy at his re-election.
“I join millions of your admirers and well wishers to congratulate you on your re-election as National President of ANLCA.
“There is no substitute for truth, honesty, dedication to duty, hard work and commitment. These qualities are all that you stand for and represent. The results from the election are intimidating, roaring and thunderous. You have raised the ladder of leadership with exemplary democracy. You are a rare breed. I wish you another term of good tiding and better things to come,” Badejo stated in his message to Shittu.
Founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, also expressed delight at Shittu’s re-election describing the ANLCA President as “a wise man and a great leader.”
“We make bold to state that Prince Olayiwola Shittu merited second tenure in ANLCA leadership as an achiever and a man of peace and friendship,” Aniebonam stated in his message.
The Maritime Reporters’ Association of Nigeria (MARAN) in its congratulatory message to the ANLCA President described Shittu’s re-election was a “well-deserved victory.”
“Your re-election for a second term as ANLCA National President was received by us with delight because it is a signpost to more positive developments in the association.
“You have been a great ally and supporter of MARAN and we are sure that the relationship between us can only grow stronger over the next four years,” MARAN President, Mr. Bolaji Akinola, stated.
