Truck movement inside the Lagos Port Complex, Apapa was temporarily disrupted on Thursday as a train derailed, crushing a truck exiting the port.
The incident, which occurred in the afternoon, saw one of the coaches of the train crushing the truck and the container it was carrying.
The incident affected the movement of trucks into the four major terminals within the nation’s largest seaport.
The scene of the accident was, however, cleared and normal truck movements restored by evening.
