Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has warned Nigerians against smuggling of goods and other forms of illicit trade.
Customs Comptroller-General, Wale Adeniyi, gave the warning in a new year message on Sunday.
Adeniyi said that NCS would strengthen its anti-smuggling strategy in the new year to improve its performance and boost revenue collection.
”As we celebrate the new year, the Nigeria Customs Service encourages all importers, exporters and excise traders to remain compliant and say no to smuggling and any form of illicit trade,” he said.
