The Federal Operation Unit, Zone ‘B’ of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) said it has intercepted three cartons of 225mg tramadol worth N15 million along Kaduna-Abuja road.
The Area Controller of the zone, Mohammed Kebbi, who made this known in Kaduna said the cartons was concealed in a truck carrying motor spare parts.
According to him, each carton of tramadol has a market value of over N5 million totalling over N15 million for the three cartons.
Kebbi further said the unit also impounded 1,100 bags of foreign rice during the festive period while 10 vehicles were also intercepted with various smuggled goods.
