One Ibrahim Umar Abba has been appointed as the new Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), SHIPS & PORTS authoritatively reports.
Umar, who is said to be an ICT engineer, is a Personal Assistant to former Borno State Governor and Vice President-elect, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
Usually reliable sources informed SHIPS & PORTS that Abba will be replacing Professor Idris Abubakar who served in the position from July 2016 till last month.
Umar’s appointment has not been formally announced.
