NAGAFF Mourns Staff

 

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has been thrown into mourning following the death of Simon Wada, Secretary to the association’s Founder, Dr Boniface Aniebonam.

Aniebonam confirmed Wada’s death on Monday, bringing an outpouring of grief from members and associates of the freight forwarding body.

According to available information, Wada, who was in his thirties, died in the early hours of Saturday following a road accident in the Ijora area of Apapa, Lagos.

Colleagues and members of the association who spoke with SHIPS & PORTS described the late Wada as a cheerful and dedicated individual whose commitment to duty earned him the admiration and respect of many within the organisation.

They said his death has created a profound sense of loss within NAGAFF, with members mourning the passing of a loyal and hardworking staff member who served the association with diligence and professionalism.

Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in due course.
