The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting has reviewed upward, the contract for a road project in Enugu State.
The Minister of Power Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, briefed State House correspondents at the end of FEC meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to Fashola, the project which was initially awarded at the cost of N10.3 billion in 2012 was to serve six different communities.
He said that the project suffered failed implementation due to lack of funding.
Giving reasons for the increase, he said, that there is also need to provide for erosion control.
