Gibraltar Port welcomes its largest ever ship

The Port of Gibraltar recently hosted its largest ever visitor when the container ship Triton on route to the Suez Canal called in for bunkering and supplies.

Built in 2016 and with the ability to carry over 14,000 containers, at 369 metres, she is one of the world’s largest ships and her arrival and supply required some delicate work from all involved.

From pleasure boats to freighters, cruise ships and superyachts, the port is able to handle all types of vessels and is becoming increasingly busy.
