Motor boy in court for stealing plywood at Apapa port

A motor boy, known as Sakiru Ganiyu, who allegedly stole a piece of plywood worth N30,000, property of ENL Consortium Limited, was arraigned in an Apapa Magistrates’ Court in Lagos yesterday.

The prosecutor, Alexander Esebamen, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on the January 7, 2017 around 2pm at ENL Terminal, Lagos Port Complex (LPC), Apapa.

The 35-year-old Ganiyu pleaded not guilty to the two count charges against him.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Osho-Adebiyi, granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety.

The case has been adjourned to January 30, 2017 for hearing.
