The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested Ukaegbu Bright Onyekachi, an alleged cocaine trafficker, at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
Onyekachi was nabbed with 3.3kg of the illicit drug during the inward clearance of passengers on Ethiopian Airlines at the E arrival hall of the MMIA.
NDLEA commander at MMIA, Ahmadu Garba, said Onyekachi arrived in Nigeria on board Ethiopian airways from São Paulo, Brazil via Addis Ababa.
He said, “the hard drug was cleverly concealed in T-shirts stickers but he couldn’t escape the eagle eyes of our detectives”.
