Nigeria records highest single day Coronavirus cases of 381

 

Nigeria has recorded 381 new cases of coronavirus infections on Thursday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 3,526.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos recorded 183 cases, Kano, 55 and Jigawa, 44 new cases.

NCDC also said that Zamfara and Bauchi recorded 19 new cases each, while Katsina recorded 11. Others are Borno, nine; Kwara, eight; Kaduna, seven; Gombe, six; Ogun, five; Sokoto, four; Oyo and Rivers, three; Niger, two, while Akwa Ibom, Enugu and Plateau recorded one case each.

NCDC said Nigeria has so far discharged 601 infected persons, who recovered from the virus while 107 lives have been lost to the pandemic.
