Port police spokesman: I don’t have sense to answer any journalist right now

Police arrest four over container diversion from Apapa

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Western Ports Authority Police Command, Modey Simon, has denied being the spokesman of the command, saying that he could not speak with journalists.

Simon’s position was strange because all the officers of the command who spoke with SHIPS & PORTS confirmed that he was the spokesman of the command.

“As you can see me I don’t have sense to answer any journalist right now,” Simon said.

The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Command, John Ogbonaya Amadi, who assumed duty in February, could not be reached to confirm the role of the PPRO.
