A 36-year-old truck driver, Hassan Yusuf, was on Friday arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly using one truck which belongs to Royal Salt Ltd for his personal use.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Alexander Esebamen told the court that the accused committed the offence on October 17, 2017 at about 5:45pm at Royal Salt Ltd, Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Phase 1, Apapa.
Esebamen said Yusuf unlawfully and fraudulently converted truck with registration number FKJ 72 XP into his personal use.
According to him, the offence contravened Section 287 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge filed against him.
The Magistrate, Mrs Adenike Alaka granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case till November 29, 2017 for mention.
