Truckers along the Apapa Port corridor have complained about the sufferings they encounter as a result of the pervading high cost of living in the country.
Speaking with SHIPS & PORTS, one of the truckers, who identified himself as Tajudeen Ololade, said he is “really feeling the pinch” of the removal of fuel subsidy and other economic measures of the present administration.
Another trucker named Bidemi Makanjuola said as the prices of fuel increases so also the money collected from them by the street urchins. This, he said, is making life unbearable for truckers.
“We call on President Tinubu to come to our aid and release the palliatives he promised on time. This hike in fuel price is being felt by all and sundry,” another trucker named Adamu Ismail said.
