Court sentences stowaway

A 37-year-old man, Olubori Hameed, has been arraigned before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court presided over by Mrs A.I Alaka for an alleged forgery and impersonation.

Hameed is standing trial on two-count charges.

The prosecutor, Alexander Esebamen told the court that the defendant committed the offence on December 19 at about 9am in Apapa.

Esebamen said Hameed paraded himself as an agent for A.C.O Allien Industry Limited, Apapa knowing same to be false and therefore committed an offence punishable under section 409 of the criminal law of Lagos State, 2011.

The defendant however pleaded not guilty to the two-count charges brought against him.
