There was confusion Friday over reports that the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, had resigned over allegation that she forged her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate.

However, confusion pervaded the atmosphere at the Ministry of Finance headquarters, Abuja, as none of the officials could confirm the minister’s resignation.

The Minister’s official car was parked at its  usual parking lot, indicating that Adeosun was in the office.

The Director (Press) in the ministry, Hassan Dodo, was unable to confirm the minister’s resignation.

Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media, Garba Shehu, said he had not been briefed on the purported resignation.
