Nigeria records 11,166 COVID-19 cases 

Nigerian tests positive to coronavirus in U.S.

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday announced 348 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country, taking the total to 11,166.

According to NCDC, Lagos recorded 163 new cases, Federal Capital Territory Abuja – 76, Ebonyi – 23, Rivers – 21, Delta – 8, Nasarawa – 8, Niger – 8, Enugu – 6, Bauchi – 5, Edo – 5, Ekiti – 5, Ondo – 5 and Gombe – 5.

Also, Benue recorded 4 new cases, Ogun – 2, while Osun, Plateau, Kogi and Anambra recorded one new case each.

NCDC said of the recorded cases, 3,329 patients have recovered and been discharged while 315 people have died as a result of complications from the virus.
