The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has announced June 29, 2018 as the new date for election of practitioners into its Governing Council.
A statement by the Registrar of the Council, Mike Jukwe, on Thursday in Abuja, said the election, earlier scheduled for 16th May, is now to hold on June 29th in Abuja.
He said as a result of the change in election date, the nomination forms alongside detailed election timetable and manuals are now available for collection from Monday, May 28 at the Council’s headquarters in Apapa as well as at its zonal offices in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano, adding that submission of completed nomination forms would also elapse by June 15.
While expressing appreciation to stakeholders for their cooperation, Jukwe reaffirmed CRFFN’s readiness for a successful governing council election “that will enhance the repositioning of the sub-sector to enviable heights”.
